Okay, thanks! We are only supposed to get to about 30 F next week... I know yall get MUCH colder than we do AND for much longer... sooo I’m guessing they’ll be okay?
I think it’s just me feeling bad for them out there in that cold:tongue
For what it's worth, it's 21* here right now and birds are fine. I'm not particularly happy but they seem to be ok.

They'll be fine.:thumbsup It will be normal for them to fluff up and roost with their friends during the day, vs flitting around the coop.

And it’s 32*F here, the bantams HATE it
It's turning into winter now, with 27*F this morning. Brr... Not used to this winter crisp air, I was enjoying the 30*Fs and 40*Fs last week.

Right now, the little nugglets are all snuggled up on the roosting (Not roasting, Grammarly) stick. Nice and warm.

Here's a chicken story of the day (might make this a thing, idk)

So, I have an EE named Gracie (Gold). She is 3 years old. She has seperation issues, and you never see her without Sadie, or the new pullets. Last May, she got very sick with something I didn't know.

I had no idea what it was, and she was sick, getting worse and worse every day.
On day 3, I honestly thought was going to die. I created a thread and the symptoms were random. The help I got was very helpful, nevertheless.
I was just holding Gracie in my arms (again, she cries when she's alone) when suddenly, this popped out.

And after some research, I found she had a lash egg. (she lays green eggs)
I did everything to help her, and she got so much better.
Within three days, she was out mingling with the others:

And even though she cannot lay anymore, I am still so thankful that she lived.
She is such an interesting bird though, so many stories.
