hi my silkie chicken was broody and i was trying to help her when one day i just saw feathers and i look down and what is it a dead feather lost hypothermic chicken and im just confused how she died because she walked inside my coop and she went to sleep so how come shhe was dead outside on her back with some feathers removed.... i think it was a cat because cats like to enter my yard and the weird thing is my chicken just walked over her so obviously something happend but honestly i also think that since she was broody she went to sit on the nest i made for ducks outside in the night and she froze and when the other chickens found her they plucked a few feathers off her
