I read it, but it said chicks that are older than 3 weeks will make it harder to cut and cause it pain... I can have my dad do it but it hurts to know it's in pain.

I’m no expert but I wonder if it could have tried to swallow a stick or something sharp that got stuck there and created an abscess kinda like a splinter that doesn’t get removed. Is there any way you can get pics inside its mouth?
