Emergency!!! Egg on 25th day

I am incubating for the first time ever & have 5 pekin eggs that are from my pekin ducks out of my pond. Well today
is my 26th day. They have been rocking around for days but still havent seen external pip yet. Hopefully soon. So
excited. Should i leave my fan going ? Thought i had read to turn fan off while hatching??? Not sure, i have read
so much so fast. This is the neatest thing ever & praying i have me some healthy baby ducklings soon. Good luck !!!!

It can take up to 48 hours from first hole (external pip) to hatch. They will start to zip around the shell and then pop the top off. The important thing is humidity. 70-75%.

Go ahead and turn that fan off. It will dry them out. Fingers crossed!

Thanks tremendously for replying back. I am so on edge at this point. So i will turn my fan off then.
Thought i had read that but wasnt sure. Its all in Gods hands now & I had told myself from the day
i picked the eggs up that only with God & the info. from you all could i make this possible. I cant thank
this site enough. So now i am glued to my incubator just waiting & praying. By the way i made my incubator
from scratch, following all the info. on this site. So I have put so much work & time into this. My baby girl is
graduating next sat. & my first batch of eggs are due to hatch by this sat. I am beyong excited, overwhelmed
proud & just a emotional case. Thanks again !!!!!!!!!!

Yay!! The best advice I can give is patience. It's hard and it sucks!! I'll be checking back here but PM me if anything comes up. I get my PM notifications a LOT faster.

All four eggs now have pipped through their shell. The first one that got through has made any more progress in the past 12+ hours. It's so hard to be patient. I'm keeping all

One of the new pipped egg the duckling inside is really talkative. I can hear it from 40 ft away.

If you don't see any more progress in another 12 hours I'll help you through the next steps. If you need me to.
As long as they've made the external pip they can breathe. And that's the important thing.
