Chicken❤️er
Songster
Hi,
For the past week-and-a-half or so, I have had two chickens that have been looking off. One of them recovered in a couple of days, and the other one, Rosie, seemingly looked fine until recently. The thing about her is that she was eating, her eyes were bright, her comb was red, and she was running around and digging with everyone else. However, whenever there was a period of rest she would huddle up in the corner. Now, that’s all she’s doing. Whatever sickness she has is progressing- I checked her face, neck, under the wings for mites, other issues, but she doesn’t seem to show any symptoms other than the huddling. What else can I do to see if I can narrow it down? I doubt anyone can make a diagnosis right now with the information I’m giving you. And if this helps, Rosie is around four years old, a partridge rock, free ranges regularly, has never been sick before, usually lays but has stopped since she started being sick.
Thank you for your help!
