well I will wait as you said. It seems that her back is stuck to the shell and she cant release herself.if her head is out so she can breathe then probably not.
i know you’re supposed to wait and let them absorb all the yolk sack . do you see that?
from what i’ve seen and read in many posts here, it’s most of the time better to not help them . nature has been doing this by itself for thousands of years![]()
I don't know. she is struggling for a day. At first it seemed that she is malpositioned. So do I have to peel the shell and not touch the membrane?I’d imagine at this point, there’s likely no veining or yolk left. Baby is so far out already, you could certainly gently crack the shell a little more around their head and get them out. If there IS yolk left, put baby in a tall-ish, narrow cup with a paper towel and let her finish absorbing.
How did baby even get in this position?? I’ve never seen this before.
