Emergency help needed blisters

Emergency Emergency, I need help emergency.
My chicken has blisters all over his comb. I've never seen this in my 5+ years of owning chickens. please let me know if this is fatal or a disease I need help.

Looks like frostbite damage.
Don't touch it. Just monitor for infection.
How's your coop for ventilation?

He had bit of frostbite barely on his toe so we moved him inside the pole barn where is is around 60-68 degrees. The coup we have is just a shed with dirt flooring and hay and wood shavings as bedding. I haven't touched it because it looks like it must be painful to him how do I prevent this in the future and how long does it normally take to heal, do you know?
