Emergency

The rooster. I'm not exactly sure what the situation was, but I personally would never kick a chicken! (Unless it was LITERALLY about to kill me, on my throat) Maybe push him a little to show who's boss, but never to purposefully injure him! Although, like I said before, we don't know the whole situation.
ImmortalChicken, maybe if you gave the story in more detail it would clear things up (only if you want to though)

I hear ya but when a rooster sees something different he sees it as a threat and probably attacked your aunts husband. What would you have done in his shoes?

I have switched from pants to shorts in the spring and my own rooster who doesn't attack me, attacked me, because I'm different with shorts on.

As long as he doesn't have broken bones, he will be ok in time. He will build up his manhood again..... and then attack your aunts husband again, lol.
I wouldn’t attack him never and I always show him I’m the boss by just holding him everyday and everytime I go outside

First of all my family was having a barbecue in the backyard and there kids were playing outside I told them not to get close to the rooster or his hen Bc he is very protective of them I was inside my room when my sister called me saying my uncle kicked him and he went flying she said Bc he attacked one of the kids I dont the full story but to me it doesn’t matter I’ll always take the side of my chickens Bc they are more important to me

I started loving chickens when I got them I wouldn’t have thought of loving chickens before and also he is a Rhode Island Red rooster

I used to hold mine too but mine still attacked me. Maybe that works for different breeds but I have white leghorns. That still doesn't help your aunts husband or the kids whom the rooster dosen't know.

Listen, you know your aunts husband didn't want to kick your rooster. I don't want your rooster to be hurt either but you knew he was going to be aggressive when you told them that. Why didn't you put him up or something?
