Emergency

He doesn’t have spurs yet and his like my child

A beak can put an eye out. Children's faces are much closer to a rooster' beak than an adult's. A chicken without spurs can still leave scars with its claws, especially on the face. And those wings can beat up a fox pretty good; if a chicken wants to beat you with his wings he can do some damage. A child facing all that is going to have some emotional scarring for life. Are we saying all this is okay to inflict on a helpless child while we play "poor baby" over an aggressive, vicious rooster? 'Scuse me, my sympathies and priorities are for the kid and his dad who rightly protected him from getting flogged. Or worse. Nobody asked if the kid is okay, or how old he is, that I saw. If a good swift kick taught the rooster not to attack kids, he's already a better rooster, in my opinion. And if not, he'll make good soup.

My chickens are more important then them so I wanted him to still roam the backyard to have some freedom and my only thought was they dare to kick him
Uhm this embarrassing but I forget people faces and names if I don’t see them for a while so I don’t know his age 😅😅😅 and I don’t really put much effort into remembering that

My advice to you is to not invite anybody over ever and stay home with your chickens by yourself.

Hm soup? No never he will live and die of natural causes then be buried he has the right to live his life in full

Now I see the full story...
I would be upset if he was kicked but you must also understand why. If he’s attacking someone and they give him a kick, it’s completely justified as it’s self defense.

Especially since he went after a child. Roosters can do some very serious damage. I understand he’s your pet but that also means that he’s your responsibility. Just like if you had a dog and he attacked a child, likely you would get into a lot of trouble and the dog may even need to be euthanized.

My advice is to make sure he’s okay, but also you need to take better precautions. It’s NOT okay for him to attack anyone. Try to teach him that he’s not dominant and try carrying him around everyday. Also if you have company, make sure he’s locked up! In fact I would recommend getting a pen and keeping him in it permanently to prevent anymore incidents.

Hey there,

If someone has kicked your rooster you should probably inspect it first to make sure everything is okay. You should also probably hold or pet the rooster to calm he/she down. Keep an eye on the rooster and also see if it is limping or not.

Sincerely,

Jaeden

He/she?
It's a....rooster, though
