Hi there! My 5 year old duck was discovered laying in the gravel with her feet up in the air. When my husband came to get me I got out there and our turkey was standing on her neck and head. I brought her in and she really didn’t look like she was going to make it. But she came out of it and stood up just fine. Well now she’s in our bathroom for the night till I can figure out what’s wrong. I went in and she’s standing there like normal but when I went to pet her head she flops her head down and becomes disoriented and unsteady on her feet. So weird. She’s never ever done that so I know something is up. I will call tomorrow to see about an appt for her but wanted to see if anyone had any ideas what could be wrong. For the last 3 years she has been gaining weight, almost like she’s bloating. But it never hindered her. She would eat and drink and forage and all that just like normal. I believe someone suggested she may have cancer. :/ first picture is of what she pooped, it was a greenish color on the towel. And the second picture is of her standing like normal.

She is so cute and pudgy I wanna hug her. :hugs
Maybe she ate something bad? I don't know. :( Poor thing. . I wouldn't like a turkey standing on my head :hmm
If you can take her to the vet that would be awesome. Please let us know what they find. For now I would just try to keep her calm and comfortable.

Yup this morning she was standing in the bathtub totally fine. I didn’t even try to pet her because I was afraid she’d have one of those spells again. I will definitely be taking her in. My 2 year old daughter is having surgery today so my nerves are shot this week lol!!! But when the vet calls for an update on Henley I will schedule an appt for Charlie also. Will keep everyone updated! :)

Oh wow. That's a lot to be stressed about. Praying for a great outcome for all of you!

Praying for a good outcome for everyone! I know how you feel the day before my daughters last surgery our turkey got to my chicken and took out her eye. It was awful! She made it 2 months after that and my daughters surgery went spectaular. This was a year ago now. Turkeys are a handful!

Oh geez, what is going on with these strange afflictions, weird attacks and, crazy deaths happening?! Lately, even for myself, it has been a total and, complete nightmare!
You and, your little girl/duck baby are in my thoughts and, prayers today. I wish you nothing but the absolute best!! I hope mine pulls through as well
