Emotionally weak - pet ducks

Okay...This is what I feed.
Duck finisher feed, old style scratch grains and oat and barley crumble..mixed together. Plus veggies they like.
Peas, Romain Lettuce, Broccoli, tomatoes, cucumber and cooked spaghetti squash..
Friends I know feed Turkey finisher instead of Duck finisher.
This works for me..

I also give turmeric sometimes, a quarter teaspoon per cup of food. It stains, so be careful handling it. It is anti inflammatory. Were the ducks with other ducks while you were away? Could there have been injuries or trauma?

Believe it or not. I add turmeric to her food everyday. I cannot think of any possible injury. She eats well, quacks loud, plays well and drops a soft egg in the evening.

Now Iv been adding apple cider vinegar to her water, purina flock raiser and oregano, calcium pills, oyster shells, lettuce and egg.

I would drop the Apple cider vinegar..But that's my opinion..

ACV only a couple times a week not every day. I use it more in summer as a tonic in hot weather for them and me.

Can someone tell me what’s the best duck feed apart from purina flock raiser? Can I make my own feed? If yes, then what should I add? I order purina online and it takes weeks for it to come. It is also highly expensive due to delivery charges. I’m not able to find an equal alternative anywhere here.
