Emu Hatch Along! :D

A female will lay an egg every few days. In the wild the male doesn't start to incubate until the whole clutch is laid so some of the eggs in the nest are a month old before incubation begins. I'm sure that effects shelf life to some degree, but they last much longer than chicken eggs.

Where in Cali are you? I live in SoCal and I've always wanted emus but my incubator is too small to hatch any :/ let me know how your hatch goes! :fl are the eggs from your own birds?
