Emu Hatch Along! :D

A female will lay an egg every few days. In the wild the male doesn't start to incubate until the whole clutch is laid so some of the eggs in the nest are a month old before incubation begins. I'm sure that effects shelf life to some degree, but they last much longer than chicken eggs.

I would find a local auction or the BYC thread for your state. But you can also check and see if there is a poultry forum for your state on facebook, or craigslist.
