we had gotten 8 chickens for Easter - 6 sexed hens and 2 unsexed bantams. One of our bantams quickly developed into the cutest little rooster and we were so glad to have a smaller one because we have had problems in the past with big roosters leading our flock out of control Today we found one of the Barred Rock hens that seemed to develop faster than the other hens (it didn't look very rooster like and it was always the biggest in the flock so we just hoped she was an early bloomer) crowing in their pen! Is there any way that a barred rock rooster and a bantam rooster would be able to stay together in a flock this small? We have the two boys separated as of right now so nothing bad happens I'm just not sure where to go from here. Please help!

It all depends on how much space they have. It will be Okay if there is enough room for the little rooster to stay out of the big roosters way. It would probably be best to have a couple small hens for the little rooster, so he can be happy. If the other bantam is a hen, that would probably be enough to,keep him busy. You would just have to watch to make sure he isn't breeding her to death.

Welcome to BYC @Kenzie Sharp !

How old are these birds?
What is your coop and run like, size in feet by feet?
What are your goals with keeping chickens?
No males at all is often the easiest.....multiple males are often nothing but trouble.
If you don't need a male, to hatch replacement birds, I would consider not keeping one at all.
