ENGLISH Jubilee Orpingtons

I know this is almost a year late but my jubilee english orpingtons I got from Meyer hatchery just started laying. They are beautiful, healthy, and definitely English. They're basically giant chicken spheres with heads honestly, very round and fluffy and sweet.

Sorry. I don't have any leads on Jubilees for you.

I had some Jubilee orps in 2015 - but only for a few months. I hatched them & ended up selling all of the chicks before laying/breeding. (I got into other colors instead.) The breeder from whom I got the eggs also decided to move on. Their eggs looked more porous when candled and had lower hatch rates than her other orps. It was odd because all her birds had same diet / conditions. It could have been that particular line.

Don't think they have the jubilee, many other awesome colors though!

You're right! I could have sworn they had some.

:gig How many new breeding pens are you going to build? :p

More than I should, that's for certain. I'm building six, 10 x 20 fully enclosed breeding pens (no snakes!) that are 10 x 10 enclosed sleeping quarters and 10 x 10 open wire for the Orpingtons and eight 5 x 10 smaller versions for the bantams and quads of other Orps I want because they are pretty, but I don't have the time to devote to breeding on a larger scale.
