Before a firestorm starts this is a thread created to illicit opinions, not cause arguments.
I would very much like any Orpington owners and breeders to put in their two cents.
My first question is...
Is it good or not to mix English with American stock? Please explain why.
Next, is not American stock technically descended from English so crossing them still gives you an Orpington?
Lastly, if they are responsibly crossed could it not improve the bird? That should be the over all goal correct?
