This is at work. They are having a big downtown Christmas thing Wednesday and we wanted to be ready for it. Maybe not. It is hard to get in the Christmas spirit and decorate when we just finished up a tornado warning. But...I suppose I should start carrying boxes up the stairs nonetheless.

You know where to send the leftovers, don't you?
I picked up a turkey the other day at Wal Mart, now just to get hubby to fix it...
You can't beat .58 cents a pound! I looked at a goose while I was there. $6.99 a pound.... $58.00 FOR ONE LOUSY GOOSE!!! I couldn't believe it! The only goose I'd pay $58.00 for would be spitting golden eggs out her..... well, you get my drift!
.58 cents a pound?! I got my turkey at Kroger for .38 cents. I love that place.

I haven't added up how much I spend at the grocery store in a long time. I go to Price Chopper once or twice a month. I might spend anywhere from $35-150 in a visit. It all depends on why I'm there and what's on sale. For example, if coffee is on sale, I might pick up six or eight of the BIG containers of it and stash them in my basement.
I stop at Walmart Supercenter on rare occasions. If I'm in there, you can count that I'll buy some groceries, though it'll be mostly produce.
I also stop at an ethnic grocery store most weeks, though lately only every two weeks. Frankly, I overspend there because I buy imported dates, good cheese, large tubs of nutella (bigger than what the grocery store has), Turkish coffee....etc. I also buy all of my yogurt there. I don't know how much it costs and I don't CARE. They don't have a price on it. I don't ask, ROFL. It's Full Fat Greek Style stuff shipped all the way from California. I buy it in two pound tubs.
It can't be TOO pricey because I'd notice it in the overall bill, but it's not terribly low, either. I also buy olive oil at this shop. I might spend from $20-100 there, depending on what I buy. (If I get olive oil, it's about $30 a gallon, so that would be on the higher end.) If I buy special stuff, like fig preserves, good honeys, etc. then it will be higher, too. Normally, I go in there and grab fresh hot pita bread, yogurt, a big tub of dates, nutella if we are out, and tea biscuits, and maybe coffee. Oh, and some vegetarian Ramen Noodles, too.
It's going to be bad news for my grocery budget when we get Trader Joes...

terds
I pay $7 for a bigger jar. It isn't cheap.
However, I only have to worry about one person getting to it before me.
