The one kid that had been on the tank kept running back towards the truck. We kept screaming at him to stay away just in case. I know he was in shock and probably could not believe he lived through that. The fire was SO hot! I could feel it way back where we were with the other young man. I stepped away for a while too and now getting ready to leave. Freddie came by to pick up his senior pics and we visited with him for a while. He called me this morning for a ride to school. I have chuckled all day about taking my "son" to elementary school this morning. It has been years since I have done that! He and Colton cadet teach there first hour every day.

Well, I had a horrid weekand at work, but am glad it's finally over. We're all mostly over the flu, with just some coughing left. The house is a disaster and there are absolutely no groceries b/c I haven't had the energy to do anything except survive the past week. The chickens and goats probably think I moved out and left them to fend for themselves.

I work Tuesday and Wednesday, then I have FIVE days off!

I haven't had that much time off all at once in MONTHS.

We're planning on taking the boat out this weekend for the first time this spring. It will be Wyatt's first boating adventure! We'll probably just go to a lake instead of the gulf, but it will still be fun! And the Strawberry Festival on Sunday! I've been going to that since I was itty bitty, so it will be a blast to take Wyatt for the first time! Should be a fun, relaxing weekend. Exactly what I need...before I have a mental break!
