I have no doubt she absolutely knew what was going on. How could she not? I don't buy into that whole "I'm just a feeble woman doing what my husband tells me to do." It is really weird to read a book and see names in it like law enforcement, lawyers, etc and say "Hey I know that person!"

Our snow is at a lull right now. We have a bit of drizzle coming down, leaving the roads wet, to freeze this evening I am afraid! The worse is yet to come!

We most certainly do get snow! lol I think the average is like 25 inches a year. We haven't had it too bad the past few years, the snow was replaced with ice! I will take a blizzard over an ice storm any day of the week! Southern Missouri gets way more mild than we do though, so that may be what he is thinking. We are only about 30 miles from the Iowa border and in the center of the state. I have my camera ready to take any pics I need to share with you all!

I think what he probably means is we don't get snow like they do....You know "Donnor Party Snow" like up in Montana!

True. We definitely don't get it like Montana does, nor do we get the bitter temps like they do! It is freezing rain now. Destiny has caught a ride home with Carol taking care of the animals and any other chores around the house, taking a warm bath and hoping to doze on the couch. We will probably be back in later tonight and just sleep on the couches or something. Hubby is on stand by to get the boss to work in the morning too. We are also having power problems already with one of the stations in danger of going off air.

Morning everyone!! I am glad it wasn't as bad as they thought it might be Michelle. Did you end up staying at the station anyway? We are headed in to town in a few minutes. Hubby has a dentist appt so I am going to have coffee with my MIL.

We did go home and have supper and got to bed early. The boys got about 2 hours nap and pushed snow all night long. We got to work about 5:30 again this morning. Destiny had to go on the air today and she is so tired, but doing a really good job. I am enjoying a cup of hot chocolate and a donut right now. Have fun in town today!
