Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

It just makes me sad when they have to face the real world-They will keep up on materialistic things that cant afford to keep up on all the lies theyve told for so long-If you dont talk about money -what you have and such its much easier to impress that way when your an adult-people get pleasantly surprised on accomplishments that arent bragged about the worng way-

Good frosty Sunday morning every one!! 10 degrees here and no wind. We got up early and I made Lattes, now hubby is making my favorite breakfast and Raymond is standing by to learn how to make Eggs Benedict. And I am sitting here chatting with you and watching them in the kitchen! Life is good!!

How are you all this morning?

Oh AND my girls are really getting with it! I had 7 eggs by 8 am this morning and 1 was a double yolker! I am so happy that they are laying again, finally!!

Good Monday morning to my favorite peeps! We survived Christmas and just waiting for the new year! Sounds like everyone had a great holiday.

NY--I bet your girls loved what they got. It sounds like they got a great haul!

chickenchick--Santa still comes to our house! I would be disappointed if I ever had to quit that tradition!

By the time all the rain, sleet and finally snow came and went this weekend we got somewhere around a foot. We did make it to Mom's on Friday, was lazy on Saturday, watched football, played Risk and Guitar Hero and yesterday went to Wal Mart. Mom gave us some cash for Christmas and we all pooled together and we are now finally a proud owner of a Wii! So, up til midnight last night playing that!

rirluvr--Keep spoiling those girls, they will lay soon enough!!

Good Morning everyone!

Michelle don't you just love the Wii. Raymond has had one now for a few years and we all love it. He asked for Sports resort (?) for Christmas so we got him that. It looks pretty neat. I haven't played it yet, just watched him. He got the Wii balance board last Christmas. I even like that. Except when I gained weight and got on it! It actually says, Mrs. Gjullin, you have gained weight. Have you been eating too much or not exercising enough?!!!!

Darn thing!!

I take Raymond to the town 40 miles over to catch the train today.

He will be at his Dads until Sunday. His Dads birthday is tomorrow so it works out good for them.

So you don't think I am crazy to fill his stocking every year, no matter how old he gets?

I just don't want to let it go!

I enjoy the Wii so far more than I thought I would! I am just not any good at video games. We have PS2 with Guitar Hero, Rock Band and all that jazz. I usually just watch everyone else play it, but I actually did get up and play it some last night! I hit a home run on baseball.

and who would have known that Des should have been a professional golfer!

We got the Madden NFL football 2010, Beatles Rock Band and a Transformers game to go with it so far. Des and I want some fitness stuff too, but now I am scared after you said that.

While hubby was playing something last night, Thunder and I were fetching at the same time. Poor guy got confused and thought Daddy was throwing things for him too when he would fling his wrist!

He was so confused at what was going on!

No, I absolutely do not think you are crazy!! We still love Santa around our house. As a matter of fact, I felt really bad on Christmas Eve. Des and I went to the garage to do something (can't remember what it was) and it was really sleeting, boys were asleep. While we were out there, I said "Is it okay if Santa goes ahead and delivers his presents under the tree? He really hates to get out in this weather again to get them?" So she and I got her present, but looked absolutely everywhere for Colton's and could not find it! I had seen it earlier that evening, but it had disappeared. So, we gave up and just put hers under the tree. The next morning, there was Colton's under the tree too! Hubby says, "I got Colton's present, but looked everywhere to find Destiny's and don't know where it is!"
lau.gif
Hers was on the other side of the tree and he didn't see it. Bless his heart he tracked out in the snow about 4 am to get those gifts!

Another funny story, everyone opened a gift on Christmas eve, including Thunder. He had a big gift bag under the tree with treats, toys, bowls, etc. The next morning everyone unwrapped everything else and started about their business and I looked over and there sat Thunder under the tree next to his bag waiting patiently for the rest of his stuff! That dog is too smart for my own good!

Oh! Poor Thunder! So did he get to play with his new things then?
big_smile.png
Hubby felt bad we didn't get each of the dogs something for Christmas. I actually don't know why I didn't think of it

Tell him Happy Birthday! I will be 40 in Sept

Sometimes I just can't believe it! My Ex, Raymond's Dad will be 45. I think, born in 64, yea, thats right. Right?!

Well I didn't have to trudge outside to get Santas gifts. But I was afraid I would over sleep and not get that stocking under the tree before he got up. So when hubby got up at ( I don't remember for sure now) it was like 4:30 or 5 AM. I got up and got the stocking out of our closet. Walked past hubby half asleep, plopped it in front of the tree, walked back over to him, kissed him and said Merry Christmas, I am going back to bed!" Turns out I had to wake Raymond up shortly after 7. We needed to get ready and on the road to my Aunts. THEN... I got picked on because. I got him this Chocolate Football, on the back it had a to and from spot. So I put to Raymond from Santa. However right under it was a price tag from our local drug store! I looked at them both and said, well didn't you know, Santa has been shopping there for years!!

Yes, Thunder has enjoyed all his goodies for Christmas! We have always bought for the animals. I guess it started because my sister has no kids, so I buy for her 3 cats and 2 dogs instead. I also get something for my Mom's evil cat and the stray that hangs around her house. I got most of Thunder's at the Dollar Store. He got a new food bowl and water bowl, a stocking with toys, a few other stuffed toys and tons of treats. (they were on sale right before Christmas). He also got a can of dog food for Christmas dinner. The rest of his stuff is still in the bag and he knows that bag is his!

I used to get the kids the really good stuff from Santa until one year Colton says "I like Santa better, he brings better toys then you guys buy!" After that, I was more careful about what Santa brought to him!

about your story. I have done things like that before too!

It is also so much nicer on Christmas morning now that the kids sleep in so much later than they used to. I was awaken bright and early by my sis calling to ask what to do about her car door being froze shut.

She was like, I thought you would have been up by now.

Saturday morning comes along, she calls me out of bed again about going to that funeral.
