Good Morning! I am here, just catching up on the reading. TGIF! I am hoping today will be a slower day! It is kinda dreary today, but at least it is going to be in the 30s today and 40s this weekend.
I work the Saturdays, partly because I volunteered when the last girl retired and partly because no one else will do it nor probably knows how. We do a radio auction, so I answer phones for 4 hours, take bids, write them on a white board and try to keep track of the 100 or so items we sell every week. The other hour we are open for people to pick their items/certificates they have bought. I don't mind it, except for the getting up and out part, I don't really miss doing anything since the weather is so icky this time of year anyway. I enjoy it because I get first bid on stuff and usually pick up some bargains. Especially if it is one of my clients to begin with. I get something at a discounted rate, plus I make my commission off of it!
I am with you girls on the driving! I am getting better, but I still have not been brave enough to tackle the "city"! When I take charmed her goat, puppies and goose, I am hoping there isn't any interstate to travel!
I don't think I am a bad driver, I am just worried about all the other guys! More and more I like to stay home, but every once in a while you just want to stand up and yell "road trip!" Hubby is perfectly content to be home the rest of his life except for his job and to make house calls in the evenings!
A fire with hot dogs sounds sooo good! The boys cut down a tree last year when it was fairly cool. Colton was out back cleaning it up and ready to build a fire, so I called up hubby and said pick up hot dogs, buns, chips and a frozen pizza (for Colton). He was like
It was a lot of fun!!
I am so happy about Raymond's appointment. I kinda wondered if school work and his episode were related. You talked about his grades and then that happened. I didn't want to think that wonderful boy was just not trying! I hope they get him straightened out really soon!
