Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

I am thinking at this point, the only way to keep sane is to just go back to bed and take advantage of the fact that my son is still asleep too lol. Once they start pipping, if they ever do, I will be a mess and won't be able to do anything but watch them.

Hi everyone!

Charmed how is Harry?

on the new truck, sounds like you are really going to need it. I told hubby I had no idea that Missouri got snow like that. He said well they normally don't. I said, well it must be that Global Warming thing!

We took Raymond to the second Chipmunk movie yesterday. The first one is much better, but hey they are talking chipmunks, how good could it be??

Good Morning! Harry is still kicking. He's not eating yet as far as I can tell. I covered the office in newspaper and let him out of the cage. For some reason I think he is depressed about being in that cage. Maybe he will start eating on his own. I have really run out of options. The swelling has gone down in his eye but he still can't see out of it.

Didn't go to pick up DD until Sunday because of the weather. Drove from 8am to 5pm yesterday. She is home in bed right now. Woke up sick this AM. I guess going from 90 degree weather to 10 degree weather got to her. Add that to jet lag and lack of sleep! Whew! She needs alittle rest. But she is home safe and I get to see her for awhile until I take her back home. She keeps telling me..Mom! I'm not 12, I'm 22! I just look at her and smile....Well...I don't have to like it! The trip yesterday was long but not bad. Roads were good all the way. Got Ice on the trees here at dad's and alittle snow. 20 mins south at home...we got rain and then it froze. But no freezing rain and no snow to speak of.

Michelle....I think you got the best of the snow. They closed all of the schools around here though. Those poor kids are going to have to go to school have the summer to make all of these snow days up!

We have had a ton of snow compared to previous years, so I guess we were due for a big winter! The transmission is going to have to be rebuilt for the truck and a few minor things, but he got it at a good price. Mine is a year newer than Tonna's and a red step side, hers is black, no step side. Otherwise, they are identical. She has hers licensed, ready to go. Her hubby took her out on roads yesterday afternoon to make sure she is comfortable driving it and driving in the weather. She called me last night all excited that she was going to get to drive to work this morning. I call her about 8 to see if she had made it in yet and she said she had to call her son. Her road was drifted over so bad, she couldn't get out of her driveway. How disappointing! But, I told her now she can wait for me and we will both drive in the next big snow together. I really hope it is next winter though!!

Harry apparently has the will to live, so I have faith he will be fine. He probably loves having run of the office!

How long before you have to take your daughter back? I wondered about you all weekend and if the weather was going to hold up. That would be so disappointing if you would have had to battle the elements to get to her! Enjoy your time with her!!

This snow is getting ridiculous! Tom came by a little bit ago and says "for some reason I have the urge to scoop the sidewalk." I said "really? because I don't!" Destiny and I are the ones that usually do it and it is time for someone else to step up. I scooped it last night from my door to the road, that is all I need, I don't walk that sidewalk, so the heck with it! I offered Destiny's pink coveralls if he wanted to wear them! He was out there about 10 minutes and gave up. Didn't surprise me any!

I used Dh's GPS to get to Newton Ks and back. That was so cool!! It got me right to the front door! (DD caught a ride with a family from Denver to Newton.) I called hubby while I was on the road and told him...I gotta get me one of these!

Wow, looks like a lots been going on here. I've got a lot of catchin up to do. As for how things are here, lets see, lol. Sunday I took Marty to the bus station in Jackson, so he's back in Florida and hopefully finding a job so he can support his and Amy's sons. Monday I had to drive back to Jackson and pick up my sis and nephew, 3 hours round trip
barnie.gif
. We, me and sis, have decided I'll be homeschooling CJ as well as my kids for the rest of this year so he doesn't have to start another new school this year. Amy has a job interview tomorrow afternoon
fl.gif
. Sis is going to be going to truck driving school so we're getting it arranged for me to have custody of CJ. We've been going to town to get kids on WIC, and this week Amy's oldest 2 should be starting head-start here
fl.gif
. We had an accidental pregnancy with our New Zealands, we had combined bunnies during the January cold snap, Lily had her babies and I guess the guineas had startled her so I woke up to dead babies scattered all over the cage
hit.gif
. We went ahead and bred them, on purpose this time, Wednesday so I'll be building a rabbit tractor and setting up a Rubbermaid in my room for her to kindle in. I'm hoping I can talk Ed into getting another indoor bunny cage
fl.gif
. We've only been letting the chickens free-range a few hours in the evening since they stop laying about 3pm. Luckily that means I haven't had to climb under the house searching for eggs anymore. Our guineas should start laying soon, so the kids will get to search through the brush on the back half of our lot for eggs
ya.gif
. We received our income tax return and all our bills are caught up
woot.gif
, and we've ordered a hovabator since our hens decided they weren't ready to go broody, now watch a few of em decide they're ready
lau.gif
. We had to separate our 2 dogs cause Peanut wasn't letting Princess/Honey eat, so I've been giving her a bit of TLC. not sure how much I'll be online again this week, hopefully after getting through this week things should settle back down again. Oh yeah, we're going to First Monday in Ripley this weekend and hopefully getting some RIR's and Austrolorps and maybe a few more PR's so we'll have a roo for our PR girls. Also, sis, Laura and Ed will be hopefully going to IL to get the rest of CJ and her stuff
hide.gif
. Ed took me out for a late Valentines diner last night, I don't do well in crowds, so we had a nice, quiet, relaxing evening

I don't get it. Guys see a perfectly cute animal and can say no? My hubby does the same thing and I could just strangle him!

When I went to get the second goose last summer (without hubby's permission) they had a llama they wanted to get rid of. Believe me, I thought about it. If I hadn't been in my van....
gig.gif
I did come home and ask hubby if he would build me another pen and he gave me the look of death. He was a beautiful animal though!
