I am glad to hear Hubby is lightening up a bit. Keep working on him. I think the house is fantastic! I am waiting for new pics. I love to see your progress.

Sorry I missed everybody today. We spent the day in the city and got home later than usual. I still need to share some pictures of our trip with you all. Oh and Michelle I like the picture of your furnace. Hubby may have some questions, I will let you know.

Also FYI on the little boy. I already let Charmed and Michelle know but D called me last night and the poor little boy has very little chance (20 %) of living and is considered brain dead.

One side of his brain is dead and the other is shutting down. She is devastated. Her BF was hoping to take her away this weekend. I didn't hear from her today so I don't know anymore than that. Don't stop praying though, DR s have been wrong before

MIchelle-you have just lit the fire under DH's butt. 3 years he's been toying with the outside woodstove-Ive been talking about you and your family and your set up for weeks-when he finally looked at the photo and listened to me he is so on the bandwagon now! Already called friends to help do it too! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! It wont begin until Summer but the thought of not spending 1000$ a month to heat this house is making me smile for sure!!!!

Colton drove another friend home, we picked him up and...We got pulled over! Poor Freddie was driving and I think he peed himself a little! He had never been pulled over before! I am too old for this, it was mighty hard to drag my behind to work this morning!

You deserved a night out! Is today your last Saturday? When you text last night about the yummy Margaritas I thought maybe last Saturday was your last Saturday

I am making a pizza to take to the in-laws for supper tonight. Oh Kenny bought me a rice cooker/veggie steamer yesterday. So I am excited to play with my new toy!! Do any of you use one?

Good Morning to all!

Let's see, I have one more Saturday to work, then I am done until June or July, whenever we decide to start our next one. I was a little rough feeling, but made it fine and got a nap Saturday afternoon. It has been a long, long time since I have had that much to drink in one setting!!

Colton did get 7 baby turkeys who are now living in my living room. They are adorable and loud and poop, a lot!! We didn't find the ducks we are looking for, so we are holding off just a little bit longer on getting them. Right now we are content on spoiling the fuzzy butted turkeys!

Sad news, we are missing Gertie! I have no idea how she got out, but she did Friday night, Hubby put her back Saturday afternoon. Later that day she was out again, but she stayed right by the fence and by bedtime Destiny said she was in the goat pen. (there is room for her to get under) Sunday morning she was gone. Not a trace anywhere. Her and Frank are our original ducks and we had them almost 2 years, so I am pretty bummed. Frank (her mate) and Norman (her child) and the geese don't seem to miss her at all.

The good news is that I think the goat pen is finally fixed!! We had to buy 2 more panels and put them up in the mud yesterday, but they haven't been out since!

Mizzou made it to the Big Dance! (NCAA tournament). Strangely, they are playing in NY the end of this week. Also playing in NY is Montana! Doesn't that make it a small world? If both Missouri and Montana win their first round, they will play each other next. Just thought that was interesting!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was fairly quiet, but I like it that way! We went to the in-laws on Saturday evening. Raymond and I played Frisbee on the Wii yesterday, it was to windy to play outside!

This is the fire place int the main lodge. The dining room is off to the left. I took this from the loft. You can see we turned the chairs towards the fire and our wine and glasses on the table! Its great to go during the week, you don't have to share with anyone!!

This shows the beautiful logs and the floor, also taken from upstairs.

We saw this on our way there. That poor truck driver was having a bad day! Can you imagine that feeling!? He fell through the bridge.

Yeah, I suppose she could still show up and I keep looking around for her, but I am not holding out much hope. They have never left the yard and she certainly wouldn't leave Frank's side for sure.

I definitely have to take turkey pics! They are cute little things! Thunder doesn't seem to notice them much since they are on a table, but when I held one up for him to see, he started begging! We really wished we had the camera then! They are sometimes hard to raise. You have to make sure the stupid little things don't drown by putting marbles in the water and make sure they keep their feet underneath them. I haven't slept good since we got them, one will start peeping randomly in the night, if you get up to check, they all look at you like you are crazy! Apparently Destiny and I are both getting up multiple times to check on them!
