Good Grief! It took me 30 mins to read the weekend stuff! I have spent all morning looking for my dad's wedding ring. He didn't sleep good this weekend and is saying crazy things today. He's definately not himself. My sis stayed home from work today so that helps. My DD had a miscarriage this weekend. She needs to get herself checked out before she gets pregnant again. She is feeling pretty good today so the worst is over.

What's all this chocolate talk?? You almost had to give our family thread an "X" rating!!

With all that chocolate talk I got a little embarassed.

I certainly wasn't going to admit that I was covered in chocolate yesterday after reading all that!

Charmed I am SO sorry about your whole weekend. You must be exhausted. Worrying about loved ones is a lot of work. Did you find the ring? I hope they are both feeling better. It is wonderful that you are both right there to help your Dad. Remember to let us know if we can help in any way.

My Aunt from California called today! We talked for almost 2 hours. We only talk about once every year and a half or so. Every time we do we say we should call more often. Anyway it made my day.

Michelle I miss Lifetime movies! I dipped my pretzels this weekend too! All I could find was the rods, so I dipped the end. Some I rolled in sprinkles and some I dipped in one flavor then drizzled the other flavor over the top. I am so tired of candy! Everything is done and I need to get it packed and shipped. My shopping is done and my cards are almost done. I feel slow but I have only received 2 cards so far so I can't be that bad.

that did get pretty um..not me LOL... well at leastx not until a few margos are in me and Im with a bunch of girls chatting hahaha. Man I have alot to catch up now too!!! I missed out all day:-(

tomatilla's tomatoes-1 can undrained
onion-1 medium chopped
chilies- 1 small can-spicy undrained
salt
pepper
spinach-fresh-1 bag of fresh spinach
throw spinach-tomatillas-chilies in food procesor then blend the rest yummy!!!!!!

the cruda
is 4 big hard ( hard being the key) red tomatoes chopped-
1 lare onion chopped-
a large bunch of cilantro-
a few fresh jalapenos-chopped fine-
salt-
2 cans of drained chilies-
mix all together and let sit over night for maximum flavor--yummy with fried flour tortillas!!! and salt with a margarita!!!

Oh Charmed, I am so sorry to read the difficulties your family is going through right now.

It is great to hear what everyone has been up to. The snow melted off here too and nothing but mud. Muddy paw prints, muddy boot prints, muddy chickens, uhgg. We had mexican tonight also, great minds.. you know!

Rivr, my girls just starting laying about 2 weeks ago, I believe it was. We started with 1 egg and it has been increasing to now usually 6 a day. We have 15 RIR girls. We got them in mid June. I did put a lightbulb on them at night, as was suggested to me, and that did seem to up the number of eggs. They might have increased anyway, but did notice that when I put the light on at night. I'm going to get it on a timer, right now it is running all the time in there. I am super excited at 6 eggs a day, and have really enjoyed giving away my first few dozen to family. I hope they enjoy them and getting to have 'organic' semi-free range eggs.

The guys are watching football here, so I am pecking about around the house and on here.

I would love to show you my sheltie babies, maybe I can figure out how to post them on here.
