Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

School here doesn't start until tomorrow, but some schools canceled classes today because of the cold/wind chill. It is only going to get worse as the week goes on, so Colton may get a longer break.

I will tell Tonna you are praying for her. It was tough the first time around and I don't think it will be any easier this time. Brandy had a heck of a time with the treatment before, and this time it will be straight in the spinal cord. Tonna and I try to help her brother Jimmie with the girls as much as we can. Brandy's mom stays at the hospital with her and Jimmie tries to keep life as normal as he can for the girls while she is gone. Kylah is about 12 now and Tymberlyn will be 4 in a few weeks. Tonna and my hubby Jimmie are related on her mom's side, but her bro Jimmie is her dad's son. Even though we aren't "related" they are all just like family to us.

I was going to text you New Year's eve, but there was no signal in Tonna's garage, it was too cold to go outside to send one and I was afraid you would have been sleeping. But, I thought about you all when it hit midnight!

AW!! You are so sweet! I was sleeping but it still would have been ok. Our phones are plugged in in the kitchen so I don't hear mine. It has a quiet ring but hubbys will knock me out of bed! Thats good though, if anybody has an emergency they know to call his because it will wake us right up! I got a text from Charmed at 12:13 AM so apparently I was the only "good girl" of the bunch!! Just kidding, I am the only boring girl of the bunch!! We were in bed by 9:30!

I could have went to bed that night at 10 if I didn't think it would be rude to leave, but as it turned out, it was about 3 before we headed home! I was cranky because of the game and had a few drinks and just played Wii until we couldn't go any more. I didn't text or talk to anyone all weekend except for Tonna. On top of it, her son's 9 month old step grandson has been really sick with high fever and edge of bronchitis and her FIL is having minor surgery this week. She is really having it poured on her lately.

Thunder is not liking this weather either. We plugged in a little heater in the living room to add a little extra heat and that danged dog has put his blanket in front of it and didn't hardly move all weekend! Yesterday morning he went to his blanket and just stared at it and I told him to ask Destiny nicely and she might turn it on. He looked at her with those big eyes and started shivering and shaking. It was hilarious! She plugged it in and he settled right down! He also crawled up on the couch and slept with me Saturday night. He has never done that before! I woke up to him rooting his way under the comforter trying to get on and by morning he was laying on top of the covers with his legs in the air! I have also been letting poor old Pocono in the last few mornings too. Saturday morning and this morning he has actually had frost/snow frozen on his fur! So, I have been bringing him in and letting him thaw out. Thunder even lets him lay in his bed.

That Thunder has such a cute personality! I can just picture him standing there looking at the heater, at his blanket, then back at you! "Come on Lady, I don't have all day here! There is a nap to be had"

Bruce does that with when he wants to be fed. We have a "pet closet" that we keep the food , toys, etc in. If he is hungry and there isn't any food in his dish he will just go stand in front of it facing the door, then he will look over his shoulder at you, like "If I had thumbs I would feed myself, but I don't, so could I get some help here, PLEASE!!"

My animals do the same thing! I keep Thunder's treats in my closet on a shelf and every morning after he comes back in he waits patiently by his bed in my room for me to give him treats. If I forget, he reminds me! The poor dog, I think he was ready for us all to leave the house this morning. He just couldn't get much rest with all the activity while he was trying to rest! Destiny took a pic of him sleeping with me. I will have to see if I have my camera with me. We were all so shocked to see him there! And I guess he thinks that heater is there just for him, because he sure took claim to it!
