Good try RIR....trying to make us feel better as you bask in the sun............
Seriously, A warm winter coat, insulated boots, gloves and hat, some wear scarves and stay in as much as possible. This is the snowiest winter we have had for a long time and the coldest temps in several years. We have heaters, snuggies and furry pets to keep us warm in the house. About the fridge, this weekend since we were home so much we went through gallon after gallon of sweet tea. I have 2 pitchers and when I needed on to cool down fast, I just put it on the front porch until it was slightly slushy and it was ready to go! As for the animals, thank goodness for a young, ambitious teenaged boy to help take care of them! And like I said with the water, we just rotate fresh with the frozen in the morning and again in the evening. Anyone who looks like they are not handling the cold well gets to come inside. Like poor Pocono with is frozen whiskers and fur!
