Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

My neighbor only uses cedar. In the nesting boxes and in the coop. I have heard it's hard on young ones but mine are 2 now. Well....anyway... Sounds like you have alot of new family members. Are the turkeys for pets or for Thanksgiving?

I have heard cedar is bad too, but I love the way it smells

I know what you mean about your turkeys growing fast Michelle. You should see these guineas! I can't believe how long their necks are getting

Is there a way to tell the sex at this age?

As far as the movie, I did not like it. However I have been told I have weird taste! It starts out fairly good but I thought it got too weird. The revenge idea is awesome though. I won't say anymore so I won't spoil it. Oh except, if you don't like gore you won't like it. There, I am done! Oh except,

Brad Pitt got a lot of praise for this movie and his part is actually very minimal.

I am headed out the door now. I won't be back until later afternoon, so you all have a great day and I will talk with you tomorrow!

We always used cedar too, but then I read everything and well, you know how that goes. I don't think it would hurt anything, especially with the older ones. It smells so much better.

I am not sure about the turkeys, I have yet to really ask. They are Colton's. I know he wants a few for Thanksgiving, but he also wants to get a flock started. He has a pair from last year and Betsy. Now we have 7 babies and he ordered more to be here on the 19th, like a dozen or so. I have no idea where we even have room for them but he is raising just a few of them for a friend. All I know is that Des and I have been enjoying raising them, but not terribly attached to them and booted them to the garage! Betsy is off limits to being dinner or even having a partner! (spoiled rotten bird!)

This spring I agreed to 2 new ducks. Our count is now up to 4 with 2 more coming. I am such a softie! Good thing I didn't go to that sale Saturday. Mom said they had some really cute goats and bunnies down there!

I think they are still too young to sex, but eventually you can tell by the sounds they make. I always get confused on which one makes what noise. One is a one syllable sound and the other is 2 syllable. We will have to look it up again. I always forget.

Talk about growing! Jill is huge at less than 3 weeks old! Destiny asked me last night if I was sure we didn't accidentally get a goose! She has really shot up and now looks out the top of the brooder at us. I am sure she is wondering if we are going to bring them more water since it has been 10 minutes since we last filled it and they had already played in it and splashed it all out! If we are watching something good on TV they get watered fairly often, we have to so we can hear what is going on!

Morning everyone! Hope yall all had a good time yesterday.

Isaac had a really really good time over at my mothers. All of the grandkids where over there and they managed to find the really big mud puddle way down the hill almost at the end of the drive way. I went outside to check on Isaac and there they all were running and splashing in the water! He was soaked through by the time I got him back up to the house and in the shower. Good think I always keep a change of clothes at Mama's. I did have to take the time to get a few pics. of him first. Will post them later today if I don't forget.

I am such a wimp. I bought some celosia plants Friday and just now got around to setting them out this morning after I weeded between my bushes and I am so tired now lol. I really need to get in shape!

Awww, I miss having little ones around for holidays, especially Easter! Looking forward to pics!!

I am really upset about how the pictures turned out. I guess my camera has finally died. I have had it since some time around 2002 I think. Back when digital cameras were really new and expensive. I will post a few of the pics so you can see what I mean. I just wanted to cry when I got them on my puter.

Ok this picture was taken yesterday morning when Isaac first got his Easter basket.

This is his first time playing in the grass. He looks mad but was just surprised by the camera.

This is Isaac and his cousin Grant in the mud puddle over at Mama's.

I have no idea what happend to my camera. I took some pictures in the house today just to see if maybe it was a fluke of some kind yesterday but they were all the same, blurry.

I don't want to buy a new camera!

He is so adorable! The first 2 pics look just fine, then they went blurry. I know you probably checked, but could it be as simple as something on the lens? Or maybe a setting that isn't right? I finally had to break down and get a new camera last summer. Mine was so old I had to give in, but I really like my new one now. I took pics yesterday of the new ducks and then my battery went dead, so I will have to charge it and then get the pics posted.
