Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Normally I make my mac and cheese in a box!

Anyway, I am planning on making it from scratch this time with a combo of Velveeta cheese and some shredded cheddar. I don't really have a recipe, I am going to try and wing it. I was planning to just put it in the oven, but do you think I would be better off in the slow cooker?

Not necessarily better off, I was just thinking convenience. I wasn't sure if you needed it to be ready after work or what your time frame was. I would say if you have time to bkae it, go for it. You could just have your pasta ready, add the cubes of Velveeta, maybe a tiny bit of milk and bake. Add tons of cheddar cheese on top and wlala!!! Going to town, be back soon!

They won't be ready until about 7, so I should have time. So, I can cook the pasta (leave a little undercooked) the night before, toss with oil, put in fridge. The next afternoon, put in pan with cheese and milk and bake it then. Sounds good to me!

Yep! I'm glad for the bit of extra sleep. As for how I'm feeling: awfully sore & still have some headache. I really walloped into that door. I knew someday I walked into it, but I never planned to tackle the glass with my head...

Roz - my DH has scars from going THROUGH asliding glass dooor when he was younger.

I spent the night with my mom last Saturday so she could watch the baby in the morning and I could get some sleep. DH called and woke me up TWICE. And it wasn't even important.

Yikes Kelly! THROUGH the glass? If I'd done that, I'd be dead, probably. This thing is double paned shatter resistant stuff. I can't imagine what it would take to break it.

The youtube video of the babies is up at my blog.

Hmmm Click website to the left. That should take you to my blog.

Oh 7, yea that will work great! Yes I find if pasta is slightly under cooked it does not stick as bad in the fridge, then it finishes off when you bake it. Yum, now I want mac and cheese too!!

All the above!

She was sitting there watching the game last night, it is relatively quiet at the time and suddenly she stands up and yells "hey! that kid pushed my brother down!"

Such a good big sis!! When he got hurt, she was over at the bench checking on him too. We also led the crowd in cheerleading last night too. Those skinny high class teeny bopper, short skirt wearing girls don't have anything on us!!

Well he did! And it wasn't very nice either.

And he was fine... I told him to suck it up and get back out there

Whew! Successfully have them all drinking water and at least two of the three are now eating a bit when I remind them.

I "think" the third one did, too, but it's a few hours younger so not as urgent.

I know, I know, I'm a worry wart. I want to see each baby bird eating and drinking multiple times in the first 24 or so hours. (These birds are so tiny they can't wait 2-3 days.)

Y'all aren't very talkie today. I have been looking up Halloween games and treats. Found the neatest decoration. You take a tomato cage and flip it upside down. Round the prongs over and secure with duct tape for the head. Thread the lights through the cage and secure them with twist ties. For each arm, ball up 2 socks and duct tape them to a stick and place in the ground beside the basket. Use magic marker to make the face on a twin sheet and drape over the structure. Too cute! I'm making some to put in the garden! http://familyfun.go.com/halloween/halloween-crafts/scary-crafts/cagey-ghosts-930936/
