Ever have a "blonde" moment?

My 'moments' usually stem from Auto Pilot... going to this particular store and don't realize I missed the turn until I turn into the usual store I go to... putting the jelly in the cupboard and the PB in the fridge... opening the doors to let the dogs in when they bark after I just locked them out and the floor is still wet... auto pilot is great... and it's not.

I feel for your DS! lol I'm blonde and I'm naturally absentminded. DH thinks it is hilarious because I read obsessively and can easily understand most complicated "intellectual" type things but the simplest things leave me lost. I once called him out of state in a panic because the sink was backed up and the garbage disposal was making a weird noise. I was about to call our contractor to come look at it when my dad, who was visiting, calmly walked over and removed the sink plug!

I have dark brown hair, but often have blonde moments.

I have a friend, who is strawberry blonde BTW, who constantly makes jokes about me being blonde at heart (ie, looking into every mirror, being generally retarded).
I tell her to go look in the mirror...
