I have shipped birds and had birds shipped to me. I just wanted to see what people on here have experienced compared to the breeders on facebook.

I’m not a breeder currently.I would however love to know how to ship button quail eggs if anyone knows!
Lots and lots of cushion in the box. I had eggs shipped to me and they used packing peanuts and closed cell foam with holes cut for the eggs to go into.

What is NPIP?Is it necessary for quail eggs?
National Poultry Improvement Plan. It a government testing requirement that tests for various diseases like avian influenza and pollorum. I'm not 100% sure if it's required to ship quail eggs but my educated guess would be yes, since chicken eggs are required.

They primarily test for a strain Typhoid, or Salmonella. Other tests can be requested.

Pretty sure it's required for any (legal to own) fertile bird eggs, but don't quote me on that
