Well, I know it aint Florida hot here...But its hell on a fat man. High was only 94, and a nice wind. but the humidity was plumb drippy. Comfort index 100 +. We had to fix a water leak, and under a 100 year old brick street to boot, then fix the street. No shade anywhere, I sweat thru my laundry before 10:00 this morn'in... I just aint built for lay'in pavers anymore. Same thing yesterday only it was a 6" valve yesterday...

I feel so sorry for everyones chickens and YOU in that aweful heat. It makes me happy I'm here in good ol cool WI

I think it's 70 ish out there and a cool breeze.

I know when we visit FL we are SURE to only go in your 'dead of winter' times where we can wear shorts and be comfortable but not freezing in our -30 degree temps

It's been in the 90's for weeks here, today was the first day under 90 and it was cloudy. We haven't had a good rain in weeks, just 2 showers that lasted about 10 minutes... My poor garden is a dust bowl now and I've been putting a fan on a broody hen, I hate this heat...

The heat is bad enough but we only had a half inch of rain for the entire month of May and 3/10 inch so far for June. We should average 3-4 inches of rain per month for May and June here.

I would not mind so much except there have been these huge rain clouds hovering just north of us.
The quail -all three- are going through the water like it was...well, water.

Weeeelllllllll I have not seen the weather in the last few days. I will have to use my calibrated sweat-o-meter. Yesterday my shirt was saying it was about 174 degrees and the cloud cover today is reading about 173. I might as well go back to IRAQ with this kind of weather. At least I get payed alot better!
