Thanks so much for posting this. My girls have this too. I think they have a mild case. Their scales are slightly lifted. I just thought that happened w/ age. I thought scaly leg mites was more of that calcified material all over their feet. But maybe that comes later with a bad case.
Anyway, I pulled the three of them off the roost last night and one by one, slathered their legs and feet with Vaseline. I have two who are kind of feisty and probably wouldn't stand in a tub of water. And since we're dealing with a mild case, I'll do the Vaseline thing every other night for two weeks and see what that does. I'll also get out and give their house a good cleaning again this weekend.
