Guess. That. Breed!

I bought eggs and was lied to in one way or another with 90% of them. It wouldn't surprise me if the two cream legbars are mixed which means I was had 100%. Anyway, any guesses? They hatched September 4th.

From the "barnvelder" eggs (brown)

Mabel the black pullet that just started laying tinted eggs. The color is hard to discern from my Ayam Cemani eggs.

The two browns without poofs.

These all seem like dual purpose as they are a bit chonky.

From the "cream and opal legbar" eggs ( lighter blue)

Adonis the rooster. He has a beard and muffs along with a different comb. He is already a heavy big boy.

The two head poof babies, one light and one dark that SHOULD be cream legbars.

Ya there's no Legbars in those pics. Maybe Legbar mixes but I think everything pictured is basic barnyard mixes.

They may not be what you ordered but theyre a seriously striking group of birds! I love all the coloring they have!

They all look like mixes. The two with head poofs do look like Legbar mixes, so could be they'll lay blue or green eggs. The cockerel is an easter egger. The others look like easter eggers as well, there are no Barnevelders or Legbars anywhere

Like others have said, they are great looking birds, and you will likely get a variety of egg colors!

EVERYONE loves him. He wasn't supposed to stay! I have two AC roosters as my plan was fibros. This whole hatch has thrown that for a loop!

They are! They weren't in my plans but they aren't going anywhere. It's not their fault. The little black one, Mabel, is my shadow, asking to be held all the time. Adonis was a jerk once but learned his lesson! They're good birds.

Did the breeder give you any idea of what he may be a mix of? I know he's an Easter egger but curious if it's from a project she's doing and there's a specific mix that makes him
