hi i want to make a post about pheasants because I don't see enough of them on BYC so post pics and chat for fun any pheasants ,chukar, quail, or rare birds here is my main man Dan jk his name is Wildfire and he is my male ring neck pheasant, I don't have any pics of my two female ring neck but I will try to get some late

I wonder if having such a long tail would be annoying? What are pheasants like personality wise?

Wonder no more! How's this for long tail feathers? over 6 feet! Pheasants have a whole range of personalities, just like people do!

Thanks, he was fun to observe and would come around everyday or every other day during feeding time. I put feed and water out for him but the deer usually got the feed! I tried many times to recapture him but he was too smart to fall for any of my ways to recapture. He would follow me around on occasion when I was on my 4 wheeler. Here's a video of him chasing me!

Yep, most don't make it a week, those that do usually don't make it a month. That's why it's hard to believe and I wouldn't believe it had I not witnessed it myself.

No, he'd get close but could not handle him.

I am new to pheasants. I got 20 day olds and lost 2 rare ones the first week. Red lights wont let me take a good pic but looking forward to learning.

I also put a couple of my pheasants in with my baby peachicks and now they are eating out of my hand.
