How far are you from Isanti, MN? I'll be bringing these all there to my cousin's farm party the 23/24th of Aug. Fourteen silkies are claimed but none of the others.

Started with 26 pea eggs & 4 turkey eggs. Down to 9 pea eggs & 1 turkey egg.

That's a shame. :(

Were they quitters or non starters?
A little of both, and I think the turkey eggs might have been too old.

6 were clear
3 had little embryos.
Notice all stuck to the shell. I was concerned that this might happen as it looks like 30 big eggs might be too much weight for the turner. Each time it turned, the eggs didn't look like they were leaning enough.

I have the turner off and the eggs are flat. If they aren't stuck, in about 30 minutes they should located at the top. I will give them an hour.

All this waiting! 20 days to go for me.

@Debbie292d you have 10 days left right?

@casportpony how many days left for you?

Still doing great up here!

We'll be locking down a day sooner than I usually do (five days), so three more days! We'll then head to MN for a family reunion. I feel so much safer knowing I can keep an eye 👀 on how my eggs are doing.

Awe, I was hoping for better, but those are going to be some tough birds!
Thanks, but it's okay.

Have you noticed better hatch rates from certain cradle rows? I find it interesting that the middle row only lost one. I guess it's possible that I populated the rows with the freshest in the middle and worked my way to the outside.

Mine are about 75% breeder eggs, and they were set left to right, so mine which filled the rest were some fresh, some two weeks old. If I recall correctly, of the 10 I pulled out, one was mine, nine were the breeder's.
