@21hens-incharge, peas are "28 days", but my peas & poults usually pip internally on day 24 or 25 & hatch on day 26 or 27. Since they do this under broodies & in incubators, I know my temps are okay.

Thanks for asking. Yes, it is an alarm. I think it's from when the incubator got unplugged the other day. Let me go look.Is that an alarm?!? I hope it's resolved and all is well!
Like I told @oldhenlikesdogs, I'll give you a GREAT deal on them!!How goes it @casportpony and @Debbie292d ??
I don't even know how long it takes pea chicks to hatch!
Can't lie I am bit jelly of those Tolbunt potentials Debbie.![]()
So you and @2ndTink have a nice round 40% RH, and mine has been at 43%. I didn't know it would be so accurate, so I picked the middle of 40-45%. I'll knock mine down 3% just so I'm not "different."
Still doing great up here!
We'll be locking down a day sooner than I usually do (five days), so three more days! We'll then head to MN for a family reunion. I feel so much safer knowing I can keep an eyeon how my eggs are doing.

Ooh, 17 days, the wait is intense! I'm glad you two have hatches before mine to help keep me distracted from wanting to candle
My dad came up with that. I had texted him and my 4 sisters all the photos and the good news. I told them we needed a name for the Brinsea Connect. He said, "Debbie & Mike's Hatchhouse," but that wouldn't all fit.we're so close to chicks! Awesome that you will be able to travel and still keep an eye on ttheD&M Hartch House!
I don't think several hours would hurt. Hens get off their eggs so many times, and sometimes it seems like half a day even.View attachment 3903910
That was it! It was unplugged for a long time on Wednesday.
Like I told @oldhenlikesdogs, I'll give you a GREAT deal on them!!![]()
