Exciting New Brinsea App Controlled Incubator - Testers Journey!

Pics
The farmer across the road shows up on ours in our wifi settings so Brinsea brought up both theirs and ours, making me choose.
We used to see our neighbors too.
I had to run through their steps I believe 5 times before it finally would work. I kept seeing the wifi connected on the incubator, but the app would show I had no devices. So, I'd start over, again, and again.
It took me a few tries too. The first one timed out, second one I entered the network password incorrectly, the third time I got this:

I have a question: I've never seen an egg turner like the one in these incubators before. I've only seen the ones that are like molded for the egg. (@Debbie292d, that's why I asked if you were using the turner.) When the turner turns, how do the eggs not move out of place? Especially if you have eggs that are a little too small? Are they going to be a problem by the eggs falling over and such?

The eggs go in those racks or cradles pointy side down. Then we set how often to "turn." I have mine set for 120. This is every two hours 24/7 until lockdown. Some may choose different timing. It's personal choice mostly.

They aren't actually turning the eggs, merely rocking them to a new position. It will tip them all to the right side, then the other the next time it's due to turn. So it's doing 180 degrees. We try to put the eggs in the racks touching or almost touching, so none end up tipping over sideways. They'll all stay pointy side down all the way to lockdown this way. The whole point of turning or rotating is just so the embryo doesn't stick to the inside of the egg while it's developing. This does the job!

Interesting!
So in theory (I have never used an incubator) if a row was not totally full a piece of foam could be used to fill the gap?
