You're welcome!thanks !!!
The ones I was hatching for my neighbor were Pekin, so they were a tad smaller I think? Anyway, I pushed them in and they stuck there lol. I had a two hatch out of seven, but her eggs were pretty nasty so I was shocked any of them made it.I just tried Muscovy eggs in the chicken egg rack.
Any idea how much they weighed? It would be interesting to chart that. The ones I was hatching for my neighbor were Pekin, so they were a tad smaller I think? No, but if you find out how much an average Pekin egg weighs, add a few ounces. They were caked in mud and poop. I used a plastic knife and scraped the majority off trying not to touch the shell.Any idea how much they weighed? It would be interesting to chart that.
My first thought @Nifty-Chicken: This is extremely early for an Aprils fool. We're thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with our long-time sponsor Brinsea! They have graciously offered to provide a few of our wonderful members with their brand new Ovation 56 EX Connect app-controlled incubator to test and document their experiences.

These experienced and enthusiastic members will be sharing every step of their journey with the new incubator in this thread. From the excitement of unboxing to the process of setup, and from the anticipation of egg turning to the joy of successful hatches - we'll get to experience it all alongside them.
We invite the entire BYC community to join this journey. Follow along as our testers navigate the features of this app-controlled incubator, sharing their triumphs, challenges, and everything in between. Feel free to ask questions, offer encouragement, and engage with the testers throughout their adventure.
A big thank you to Brinsea for providing this opportunity for our members to embark on this exciting journey. And thanks to our volunteer testers for agreeing to share their experiences with all of us!
The journey begins soon! We look forward to you joining us on this hatching adventure!

No April Fools! We are for real testing these out! I've been playing with mine making the alarms trigger, using the app to do test turning, changing set points. It's really handy, it's making this whole hatching thing a bit tooooo easyMy first thought @Nifty-Chicken: This is extremely early for an Aprils fool.![]()
