That would totally worked on me...as a matter of fact now that I think of it, she may have used thise before in a few ocassions already!!!! lol

Haha,

I would say "I promise to rehome them after they hatch", "I will rehome them as soon as they more comfortable", "looking for new homes next week"..

And then just keep pushing it further and further, Eventually he should give in or forget about it.

My OH is the same way. This is the excuse I use on him. I also use the excuse that 1. His work is not very steady and I work MAJOR hours. 2. I gave up a life time of horses (sold it all!) to buy the house we live in. 3. you knew I loved animals when you got into this relationship. (I had 4 horses, 2 dogs, a bird, a pot belly pig, a cat, a rat and chickens). 4. You know by now that I NEVER tell you if you can or can't do anything so you do not have the right to tell me whether I can or can't do something. I have yet to hear him ask for permission for anything. Poor baby I was just discussing plans today for a bigger coop with a run, a separate small coop and a grow out pen. He said "I have to build it for you don't I"? I said remember that new shotgun you want for Christmas? LOL

Which ever one works. Mine is Dear Hubby. A friend of ours brought over some BO eggs today and DH was nagging me to get them in the incubator. He won't touch the incubator or hatchers but loves to look at the eggs.

I guess I don't have to worry about the chicken thing. TBG just walked into the room 5 minutes ago and said "Dave's neighbor wants to get some rid of some chickens" I said "what kind" He says "amera somethings, I told them we would take some hens" I asked "how many" He says " I don't know 5,6,7 8?" I said I want them all, he says "o.k.". Color me stunned!

Of course the one that is perfectly my age would be married already!
