Exotic Critters!Anybody own Any ?

The only exotic I have right now is actually a native common snapping turtle. He hatched october 31st about 4-5 years ago. He is fairly friendly, loves taking bathes and having me scrub his shell with a toothbrush. This year we are digging him his own small pond outside.

Do geckos count? I just got a 4yr old female African Fat tailed gecko! I havn't named her yet though:

Is it true that if they are captive raised then they aren't really poisonous? I've always read that but always wondered....

i have a hairless rat

living in california exotics are so hard to raise.

since we have a stupid law where omission makes it illegal...
i really want a hedgehog though...

My parrot Rusty is kinda exotic.
He's a Blue-Front Amazon Parrot. He's 23 years old and I've had him since he was a six month old baby. He has a huge vocabulary and sings and dances, crows, cries, sounds like a can opener, etc etc I tried to count once and lost track at about 300 words and phrases.
