I have a pullet which is a dead ringer for the golden speckled hamburg, EXCEPT she has yellow shanks. McMurray says she must not be a Hamburg, but no further info. She was one of their "Rarest of the Rare" all pullet selections, so she could be anything. Any ideas? Rose comb, yellow shanks, colored exactly as I said above.

    Have you checked feathersite.com?

    A picture would be helpful.

Hamburgs don't have yellow legs. As far as I know, McMurray sells Silver Spangled or Gold Penciled Hamburgs, not Golden Spangled. Here are pics of our McMurray Hamburgs, I can't find the pics of our Gold Penciled as a chick except an overhead shot.

    Silver Spangled 9 days

    Silver Spangled 5 months

    Gold Penciled 5 months

Hard without a picture, but how about Golden Laced Wyandotte?
