Thanks Southernbelle, we are now able to get more painting done in our house. It helps to be useful. I am just passing the time until we can try again

Hello All,
I haven't been on BYC in a While, since I moved and had to rehome my birds, but I had been active in the Infertility thread. DH and I had tried to conceive for 18 months before starting Clomid, which I didn't O the first round, but O'd the Second, but didn't conceive, then DH and I had a career change, and moved, so we stopped fertility treatments in May 2010. I now take care of my husbands two grandmothers, while DH is going through Nursing school. in September I was super tired, and kept cramping, but no period, then started having bowel problems. I figured the new very demanding job, and living back in the California Wine country, enjoying all the awesome Cheeses, accounted for the tiredness and Bowel problems, but after 4 days of no... well...um.... #2, lol, I told hubby I was going to take a HPT just to get it out of my mind. So 10pm September 10th, I peed on a stick, and it came up with two lines, so I grabbed the instructions, because in two years of TTC I had never seen this, the instructions said that meant positive

, I yelled to hubby that I couldn't breath, he jumped up thinking I was having a stroke or something, so I handed hime the HPT and the instructions, and he sat on the bed, and said "Wait, what does this mean? Does this mean what I think it means.... NO WAY!" So he made me drink like a gallon of water and take another one, and another immediate positive! We had our fist DR appointment where they confirmed the pregnancy, then on the second they did and ultrasound that put me at 9 weeks 5 days with a kicking punching baby, and gave me a due date of May 14th, 2011. I am now 13 weeks 3 days, and have my next appointment on the 16th, we can't wait! I'm still in shock, Especially now that the morning sickness is wearing off and I am gaining more energy, sometimes I even forget that I'm pregnant, I just still can't believe it's happening.

Anyway, Hope everybody is healthy and happy,

Wendy (Red). I've been thinking about you a lot lately, I hope things are finally going well for you.

Woo hooo!! Way to go Kelsey. I hope all the woman on the infertility graduate in as short of time there as possible. Especially Red!

I'm 33 weeks today! Where has the time gone. I found out at my last appointment that although the placenta is no longer covering the cervix it hasn't moved any further than the 7mm away that it was 5 weeks ago. I have till 37 weeks and if it still hasn't moved to at least 2cm away I will be scheduled for a c-section at 39 weeks.

Also last Saturday I spent the day in labor and delivery. One of my dogs pulled me down the steps to the front porch. I skinned my side in several spots from my toes to my ribs. They kept me on a monitor, and I'm contracting a little bit. Then they also did another ultrasound. The baby is good. And we figured out a middle name. She will be Rhiannon Mackenzie.

welcome kelsey to the expecting board!!! I am so happy for you!
looks like we will be delivering about the same time...I am due 5/11/11.
It really is unreal at this point, but I just started getting a noticable belly (over my already fat belly). I can no longer "suck it in" and most of my pants are not too comfortable these days.
I am waiting for the reality to kick in still.

I hope everyone is doing well and things are routine for everyone, hoping not to gain too much weight as the holidays are approaching. Was joking yesterday that between turkey day and christmas I may gain all the weight I need for the whole pregnancy!

Rhiannon is a nice name.

only 6 more weeks before I get to find out what I am having. Guessing boy still....50/50 chance!
