Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

My OB told me I was measuring a week ahead also yesterday at my 32 wk appt. He said she would probably be born "on time" since I haven't really had any labor signs and would be a larger baby.

Stop talking labor, you two - we've got to be only just a few months pregnant!

Seriously, I feel like I shouldn't be anywhere near the end... time has gone by so fast it's unreal!

...until my back is sore and my ankles are puffy in the evenings

Wait until you are where I am and only have 5 days left - er, 4 and a half days now - but every single day draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaags out as long as it possibly can.

Just had to pop in here and see if you lovely pregnant ladies wouldn't mind sending some preggo prayers my way, I'm hoping to join you guys real soon.

My DH and I have been trying for a couple months now, so far with no luck. However, I've been on birth control for years and years, just stopping 3 months ago, so I'm guessing it's going to take a little while to work out of my system.

I was feeling pretty good about this month, a little morning-like sickness had me thinking that there may be a very little bun in my oven, but alas, I'm feeling crampy and seem to be right on schedule for starting my period again. Boo.

I was planning on starting to take ovulation tests next month to hopefully time the baby dance a little more accurately, but after a little calculation, looks like I'm going to gone on a trip to CA with my mother during my most fertile time, so we'll see....

Honestly, I've always wanted to be a mother and it's really exciting to finally be at point in my life where we're ready to start "trying". Nobody else knows except me and DH, so it makes me feel all giddy to be even typing this all out.

Anyways, any happy thoughts you can send my way would be greatly appreciated!!

LOL! It is crazy how fast it goes after the 2nd trimester! I am HOPING it means a week early, but I too think it just means a monster baby is on the way LOL! So it looks like October 7th will be my last working day!

They say it can take between 3 to 6 months for you to "back on track" ovulation wise, so don't get down about it!

That will be here before you know it! Glad your employer was willing to work with you about it though, granted it's not really like they had the choice

Actually my first signs I was pregnant was period like cramps, but when they lasted 2 weeks, and I still hadn't gotten my period, I tested... By then I had a couple more symptoms too. Good Luck!

Best wishes! It could be the start of your period or it could be early pregnancy symptoms. I never noticed cramps at the beginning with my first two, but this one I had crampiness and bloating at the beginning.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers everyone!

Dax had his surgery last Thursday at 8 am and is now doing great! The first 24 hours were really, really rough because he was in a lot of pain, but he's doing much better now.

He is slowing being increased on the food and will finally be at full feed tomorrow morning at 2 am! The neonatologist wants to observe him at full feed for a few days to make sure he tolerates it before sending him home, but she says we should go home on Friday!!! I am soo ready to go home! The surgeon is very happy with how he's healing and has given her blessing for us to go home. We are going to schedule a follow-up appointment with her in two weeks.

Thanks again for all the support - I hope soon I can check in on a regular basis...

And just for fun... here's a pic of him as of yesterday morning.
