Experienced Trader Joe hatchers

I love my TJ white leghorns! The Josies (I call all three WL hens Josie) are well over a year old now and they're still laying large white eggs every day. (TJ the rooster was gorgeous and a good roo, but something got him..... a couple of months ago.) I was really pleased to add these "eggspirimental" birds to my flock.

I'm sure y'all will love yours, too!

I found out the Trader Joe's near us doesn't carry fertilized eggs. Well we still have a Whole Foods nearby that I can check!

Here is a picture of Buffy and one of the little leghorn (TJ) chicks. They just look perfect together.
There is another chick hiding under her other wing and 3 more eggs to hatch.

I started with 4 eggs right out of the refrigerated egg section and had one successfully hatch! Meet Joe! Hatched yesterday!
