Decided to try incubating with the Janoel 48, so three days ago I stuffed it full of duck eggs! The Janoel is an inexpensive incubator that I have been using as a hatcher and NICU, but was bored so deiced to try duck eggs in it. This is where it might get interesting, lol... most of the eggs are Muscovy eggs, which take ~35 days to incubate, but some could be quacker eggs which only take 28 days.

My settings:
  • Forced air bator
  • 48 eggs stood fat end up in auto turner
  • Turner set to turn every two hours
  • Temp is 37.5
  • one water channel filled
  • humidity ranges from 35% to 55%, but trying to keep it at 45%

I have 14 Swedish in a similar bator, day 5 now, pretty much same conditions as yours. Also had a couple of initial iffy air cells. I weighed each one, made a spreadsheet with target weights for day 7, 14, 21 and 25 to achieve 14% weight loss by day 25. will adjust humidity as necessary.
Best of luck to you... and me!!!

Major problem, looks like my turner motor is defective, so all eggs have spent their first week tilted to the left!

This whole time they have been sitting at a 45 degree angle with their fats ends pointed left... motor works, sort of, but every two hours it starts, goes to the right, then back to the left!

Also should mention that I candled and tossed a few... think I'm at 41 now. Oh, and the spot just to the right of the motor, the larger duck eggs rub on it, so tossed that one as well (it was clear).
