I freaked the first 2 hatches thinking most were gone then boom they were back by like day 8-10

omg same! I was so guilty thinking i killed the entire batch by doing something wrong...then the veins re-appeared...

Mine are day 16 and internally pipped.. I swear I can see them rocking but I might just be hallucinating.

Hehe today is day 15th (incubated 31 July) and this one hatched early... its running around harassing the other eggs ...

It looked like this on day 3... then all veins gone .. i used the same flashlight View attachment 3600326

It will get harder to see what is what as the chick grows inside bc it’s taking up all the space and lots of darkness. All good!
