Extras in the feed

I'm reading a lot of different comments about adding ACV and garlic to their diets. How do y'all feel about adding extras if their are on really good quality organic feed. They get fresh veggies snack in the late afternoon but should I add fresh garlic and should i add ACV to water?

I like ACV mostly because it keeps the algae out of the waterers.

Know that ACV and or garlic will NOT prevent worms nor will either cure worms.

I would use garlic occasionally, perhaps every 3 months or so, but not on a regular basis. As for ACV, I ferment my feed. Therefore, using ACV would not be appropriate for my flock.
