I doubt the USPS would accept it to send either, and it wouldn't do much to help us egg-shippers! They'd end up refusing to send eggs at all.

definitely...they need to know about crummy sellers to protect buyers and to protect sellers! Sorry you had a crummy time

I've looked on ebay before at purchasing eggs before too, Crazy to have received them in this conditition I agree.

Well, up until now I've had good experiences with eBay, not the best of hatch rates--but at least no broken eggs.

Well, up until now I've had good experiences with eBay, not the best of hatch rates--but at least no broken eggs.

I'd wondered about hatch rates....with shipping, I'd be afraid they'd get too jostled--or that they'd get held up in the mail....I'd rather get my eggs local or from someone I know ---we hatched our own this time---I'm going to have to do some tweaking next time though---not the best percentage..but it was my first time---I'd like to get a hold of some Maran's --LOVE the dark eggs!

Yeah...I've had a few 100% hatches, some 90% and the last was 46% and 32% but my incubator was going nuts!

I've also had 0% where none hatched....

And I bought 5 Sebbie eggs--which are due on Saturday, but it looks like they may all be infertile.
