Eye boogers

This is butter, he’s had eye boogers since we got him at 7 weeks (now 5 months). I’ve tried terramycin, and they were on bio-mycin for other things but it never went away. It doesn’t seem to bother him it’s just gooey, no bubbles or other issues. Anyone seen this before?

Is his third eyelid always showing? It might be a problem with a tear duct or chronic irritation, but he might have mycoplasma (MG.) You could rule that out with a tracheal swab and culture. Your vet or the state vet can do those, and Zoologix will send you the swabs to collect yourself. Here is a link to them:

Nope it’s not I think I was just timing in the picture. What could you do about a tear duct?

You can’t do much about a tear duct. Did her symptoms get any better while she was on the antibiotic?
