So Carol, my silkie who was previously called Reaper but call me superstitious im starting to think it’s the names fault, well she had had a paralyzed leg for about a month and that hasn’t been causing her issues but now her left eye is glued shut with the goop and her right eye is starting to close up when she sleeps. She’s also been getting worse with her respiratory issues, starting to think this might be her last day, found her in the position all my other chickens have died in and not moving when I poked her but still alive… not sure how far our luck will go. But I want to at least clear up her eyes so she can see, I’ve tried my old dogs eye drops from when he had an eye tumor that’s just meant to wash stuff out of an animals eyes but it hasn’t been doing anything. What should I do?

Oh no, poor girl. Sounds like she's towards the end. I don't know if you can get this over the counter, but Artificial Tears in ointment form works really great on chicken eyes! Good luck, I hope she makes a turn around!

I’ll see if I can find that, she’s only 8 months or less so it can’t be an age thing, I wonder if it’s just her in general, if she had any hatching issues

Here are her eyes

I’ve now made her somewhat of a foot sling, she tries to keep her foot tucked under her so she can lay down comfortably but never could so I got my belt and wrapped it under the paralyzed foot and around her under her wings so it’s holding her foot against her stomach

Was she vaccinated against mareks? That's my first thought for a young silkie with leg paralysis. Any other chickens showing signs of illness?
I don’t know if she was, was never told but I’ve heard they can get it vaccinated or not.
She seems congested, she breathes with her beak open sometimes and gargles after she drinks water, she’s only sneezed a couple times and that was last night but hasn’t since, she can move her leg just not her foot or ankle, or whatever you’d call that on a chicken. I don’t see why runny nose, I have medicine in a humidifier and VetRX in her water but we just started that today so im not sure how much it’ll help yet BUT this is a recurring issue, she had a paralyzed leg a couple months ago, September I think but I managed to temporarily fix that

Sounds like at least two issues: whatever is causing the leg problem and a respiratory infection. Where are you keeping her, why the humidifier and what medicine is in it? Too much humidity will make things worse. Keeping her someplace dry and warm would be best. Vetrx really isn't going to help a infection as it's just herbs and oils... she probably needs antibiotics. Seems like she could really use a vet if that possible.

She’s in a cage I use for chicks in my room (mainly to keep animals away from her) and it has a homeopathy remedy called hypericum meant to help any nerve issues and only runs every few minutes for a couple minutes, it’s set to do that. There’s only one vet here that helps chickens and it’s 100$ just for a check up, spent 100$ to have ghost checked and 15$ to have her euthanized and cremated, they can’t do much here, she’s in the cage in my bedroom so much warmer then she would be outdoors
